Research and Planning: PLAN FOR ACTION!
Adam and I recognise that our coursework has taken a backseat while we've been sitting exams and have come to a harsh realisation that we need to get filming and taking pictures soon.
Therefore, the following plans have been made:
19th January - I will make armour for our underground characters
20th January - We will hold a meeting with all of our cast members in an attempt to get hold of all release forms and agree on dates to film relevant scenes
23rd January - Adam will go up to Werneth Low to record the sun rising and take photos of the sun for distribution purposes (this may change due to percentage of clouds, sunrise times and other weather elements)
Other events are to be confirmed at our meeting on Friday.

Research and Planning: Changes to Mise En Scene
Adam and I realise that we have probably been a little too ambitious with our mise en scene choices. This is due to a list of factors including budget, availability and effect.
The changes we have recently made are:
- The decision to make armour, rather than buy it. For this, we are going to use cardboard and tin foil. We realise that this may not look as effective as buying plastic armour may have, but it simply isn't practical for us to buy armour of this quantity.
- We are going to change the weapons of the underground army to golf sticks, rather than stones etc. This is because we believe they will be much more effective and will be much easier to see - for a stone to be seen, it will have to actually be thrown, and this is potentially quite dangerous!!

Research and Planning: Boiler Room - Mise En Scene
Today we have discussed the difficulties in our ideas for the energy cylinder.
After a large amount of research, we have found that large, clear, plastic cylinders are hard to get hold of, so for ease of production, we have decided to use one of the boiler rooms at college. This is convenient for us as well as relevant actors who are college friends of ours.
The boiler room we are using at college is simply amazing. The boiler is massive, and with a little bit of design, could look exactly how we want it to, all things considered. The sounds in there are also ideal to our production.
We will be using the boiler and boiler room to film all of our cylinder scenes

Research and Planning: Plan for the Day
Due to the late start back at college this week, there hasn't been much time for progress.
Yesterday we realised there is an issue with filming at the shelter this Sunday. Because of this, I will ring the shelter today to try to rearrange. I have looked for the opening times of the shelter to ensure I don't waste any time doing this:
